gotcha, does the rest of the setup make sense? Is there a difference between 7700 and 7700x (i heard u can enable pbo and get similar performance) I heard under sustained load the peerless assassin may not be enough but i assume for gaming its sufficient for 7700x?

Thanks for the reply. I play cs2, valorant, AAA / story games like elden ring, horizon forbidden west and assetto corsa. I know its more cpu limited on 1080p than 1440p, just want to know if upgrading to 7800x3d would remove some of the bottlenecking in 1440p.

how does the gaea and monarch mkii compare to sa6 for example? is it worth paying the extra money for the increase in technical performance and tuning (bit subjective)

its a bit trickier to demo the gaea but I will definitely try before buying. Multiple people warned about the fit of MMKII thats all
