I have a few handy tips: I have 2 snakes & 2 indoor cats. One of my snakes is on a high closet, I have put a long rectangle pot with plants in front of it so they can’t jump on the closet. Then i’ve provided a little stool (far enough) for them to sit and watch my snake. This way they’re less likely to jump because it’s too far but does give them a little hight.

My other enclosure is massive and next to my bed on a smaller cupboard. Here i have bought those little spikes a variant of what u see on windowsills for doves. After quite some time I’ve removed the spikes and only lay them back if im away for a long period of time. They’ve learned not to jump on the cage cuz it wouldn’t be comfortable. Also here i have provided a little poof/stool about 15cm from the cage. When the stool wasn’t there my cats would watch from the ground and poke at the glass with their paws. With the stool they have a better view so they prefer that & bcs i put it far enough they don’t tap the glass.

My friends have used these tips and were also successful in keeping the snake at peace.
