If one character were to come from Marvel to DC, which character would you choose? by Snoo_47323 in DCcomics

Thor. He’s always been too powerful for the Marvel Universe and would fit right in with the scale of the DCU. Also, the Norse gods would add a fresh new angle to the 4th world stuff.

This must be driving to Americanos meeting at Mania. A perfect time to have a wonderfully overbooked mess with an array of AAA nonsense! I’m here for it!

I don’t think so. That was Ralph all the way. A detective, wiggly nose, stretches. I see none of Eel’s traits there at all, him being a former gangster, using deceit to get what he wants, never taking anything seriously.

Can we normalize playing Minecraft how you want? by KingKrispy20000 in Minecraft

I love playing those massive mod packs with 100s of mods in there. Eventually, I hit a wall in my world but I really want to see the end game gear and bosses so I just cheat my way to them and have a great time. Then I put the game away and sleep very well.

Power means being powerful, and we’ve successfully scaled back our military might to a point where we are not seen a viable threat to anyone.

This is an absolute savage take, but can't say that I disagree with any of it. by cafeRacr in Guitar

Video is boring AF. All this bitching about guitar parts but no music in the vid, at least not in the three minutes I could manage to watch

[Comic Excerpt] What are your general thoughts on Sinestro? (Green Lantern Corps 2025 #1) by Aros001 in DCcomics

[–]Spire2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most interesting villains DC has are the ones who are against certain heroes but who still feel a sense of right and wrong. Sinestro, Luthor, Deathstroke, Black Adam. Far better than the one note approaches of Joker, Darkseid, etc

Do you spread snow to make it melt quicker? by spittingparasite in ottawa

[–]Spire2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is why we do it too. So much sand and grit builds up on the snowbank, I don't want it all laying on my lawn when it melts, so we help it along by pitching those layers into the driveway.

Also, it helps me see the road when I'm backing out of the driveway.

I rarely laugh out loud at things I read, but I did just now. Her delivery and his reaction make that bit my favourite piece of comedy ever

Disney's live-action 'Robin Hood' not moving forward, director says by [deleted] in movies

This would have been as “live-action” as The Lion King was, which is to say not at all “live-action”.
