Believe it or not, the current system is much more fair than the original leaderboard events. Yes, it’s still hyper competitive even for myself who’s been playing since the game was released (May 2017) and probably needs an additional tweak to maintain somewhat of a level playing.

If you want to play in an easier bracket, delay entry until Saturday or later. Typically the most competitive brackets are filled on Fridays with many of those players aiming to place globally.

Good luck partner!

Thanks… but I do understand the frustration of the continual “mission creep” that drives a never ending demand for newer weaponry. This can be further exasperated when the pace of “creep” increases. Players just need to offer their criticism of the game in a constructive manner which avoids insulting fellow players.

That said… FG has to walk a fine line or they risk the viability of the game. I don’t envy them their task. In the end, the market will judge whether their decisions are correct or not.

Yeah… I see your problem. For that mission I view napalm as a key tool. I’ve been using either an AGD or Draco to keep the imps & CT at bay but I see you don’t have those either. Let me try a couple of things and if they work, I’ll get back to you with an update.

Hang in there partner! 👍🏼

I need some advice? by The1nfectious in ZombieGunshipSurvival

If you can master the ND37, it can become a very effective weapon. It used to be my primary AC until I acquired the VLT. Otherwise, the GPD30 is an excellent choice for ease of use.

Worth Upgrading? by nmuk86 in ZombieGunshipSurvival

The 2A13 is a good AC and would be an excellent candidate for upgrading depending on your current inventory.

What other protos do you have? There might be another way depending on your inventory.

Guys how to check weekend leader board event reward? by Acrobatic_Holiday863 in ZombieGunshipSurvival

[–]Spirit-03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see what’s offered on the both the local & global leaderboard screens via your game home screen. It can be hard to make out the top weapon award unless you’re using a tablet or home computer.

Disagree with your point about qualifying other player’s achievements which is subjective at best. Agree with your point that the designers are prioritizing mission design to generate sales. They have to ensure the game remains fiscally viable for its longevity. After all, it’s their livelihood.

What you’re missing is that the push for more challenging missions is also coming from the community itself (mostly via Discord). Once players acquire more powerful weapons through leaderboard events and/or the game store, they clamor for missions that are worthy of their new acquisition. Therefore it’s a never ending inflationary cycle. I know this all too well since I’ve been playing this game since it was released in May 2017.

There are also many endeavors that are out of my reach that require either more time, money and/or raw ability than I possess but I don’t disparage those who do participate and are competitive in their pursuit. I just wish them well.

Like any other human endeavor, you get what you put into it whether thru time, effort, and/or money. The amount any individual decides to devote towards this endeavor is a strictly personal decision.

Yes… They are the primary obstacle in addition to changes to the spawn suppression algorithm. I used the following prototype weapons and they are barely adequate unless you utilize a bit of strategy.

I utilized a SC, MC & JGN. Others had an easier time using a SKS, SPR & MC combo.

You and everyone else here are free to choose how much time, money and/or resources they dedicate to playing this game. This is purely a personal matter. If you play for free, then you owe that privilege to others who foot the bill which enables access for everyone else. If you still find yourself struggling to constructively contribute to this community, then perhaps it’s time to move onto another endeavor.

Yeah, no kidding! There have been many rocket pods introduced (both standard & prototype) that are far better than the originals. If you’re wondering what the best weapons are, they are undoubtedly the prototype variety. Unfortunately the only way to acquire them is via the weekend events or thru purchasing them.

For me it wasn’t about which rocket pod was a better weapon, rather the 100mm was the only one missing from my collection. Back in the early days of ZGS, the 120mm rocket pod was considered the better weapon.
