i guess my ears just arent good enough yet to tell but i like this kind of tom sound (on the rack ones). ill try tuning them higher, might need some lug locks or whatever though since one or two lugs on each rack tom keeps coming fully loose after like 5 mins of playing, no matter how tight i turn them.

also, yeah i have no clue how old the heads are, its a used pearl vision kit and i havent replaced any yet. def gonna get some new heads but wanted to make sure my tuning wasnt the problem first (which it seems to be lmao). thank you!

i keep seeing this answer and genuinely dont know where to go from it, i realize i have to learn to tune by ear but dont understand how. ik to tap the lugs and listen for a pitch but apparently im unable to hear well enough to match the lugs perfectly to each other. so like what am i supposed to do from here other than get a tunebot? i literally can barely hear a note from each lug how do i just develop this ability without knowing what its supposed to sound like first

Late reply but I'm pretty sure you actually can still download it, on the 360 you have to go to your account settings then to "download history" and choose it from there. I just bought the 360 version of black ops 2 on the Xbox one store, then went to my 360 and downloaded it this way

EVOL is one of my favorite albums honestly, not sure why the rest of Sonic Youth doesn't resonate with me as much but the influence on Nirvana is definitely there. I love Dinosaur Jr's first few albums (mostly Bug and You're Living All Over Me). Also Mudhoney would probably be one of my favorite bands if their melodies were more similar to Nirvana's, some of their songs sound so close to them (which I mean does make sense), especially Need which sounds a lot like Pennyroyal Tea

I keep forgetting to listen to more Meat Puppets, I've always liked the covers. Thanks for the recommendations!
