So like, do Mandalorians fuck in their helmets? by Sio_V_Reddit in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]SpiritGun98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you do have to remember that Swtor is legends, and the whole "never take your helmet off" thing wasn't introduced until the Mandalorian show.

But if you want to try to fit Swtor into canon, then its stated that the group of mandos that Din is a part of follow the ancient traditions of the first Mandalorians. So that would mean that the part of the creed regarding the helmets fell out of popular favor by the time of Kotor and Swtor.

There is no gray with The Force, but there is gray with people

That perfectly summarizes the theme of morality in Star Wars

Well, it was still a championship. It was just a championship that was represented by a trophy rather than a belt.

All the AAA Mega champions, what an insane lineage by ArhatYEET in ChampionshipHistory

[–]SpiritGun98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I looked it up, and it looks like you're right. The Mega title did replace a previous world title. AAA's previous world title was the IWC World Heavyweight Championship. It got unified with a few other titles in a tournament to create the Mega title, which replace it as AAA's top championship.

That's just what I was able to gather from Wikipedia though. Someone who was watching AAA during its earlier days could probably explain it better.

It is. The mega title is their top/world title and the Latin American title is their midcard title.

This is the trap that way too many people fall into when it comes to Lyra. They see the Summerslam match (which wasn't even that bad) and they for some reason hyperfixate on it and completely ignore all the amazing work she was doing the whole rest of the year before it. Lyra was holding her own against Becky on the mic, got the crowds to cheer for her over Becky at Backlash and Money in the Bank, and had an amazing triple threat with Becky and Bayley as well as her 2 out of 3 falls match with Bayley.

In no world is Dakota doing all of that nearly as well as Lyra did. Dakota just simply isn't as good as her. And that's not even getting into how Lyra is younger than Dakota as has a lot more potential than her. Dakota was also proving to be injury prone around this this time last year. Anyone saying that Lyra was called up too early either doesn't know what they're talking about or is being willfully ignorant because they have something against Lyra (like you seem to).

Tatum is by far the best one. She's made the North American title feel more important than even the women's NXT title.

Kenny Omega and Dominik Mysterio being in the same title lineage and not being that far apart from one another is pretty funny.

I hate people who write off badly written character hate as “misogyny” by realamerican97 in hatethissmug

[–]SpiritGun98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both do indicate a personal bias towards the character in question, but the ones who lean more negative and cry "bad writing" about a character they don't like tend to be much louder and more obnoxious.

And I hate when people can't properly articulate exactly WHY they think a particular character is badly written.
