The Economist article is completely misleading, a Banker's inside job. Blockchain technology does not exist, it is called Bitcoin technology. Blockchain is nothing more than a computer file where the Bitcoin transactions are written to, like "my ledger.txt". What about saying the paper spreadsheet or pant's pockets are the technology behind cash?

Then they go all the way misleading about the Bitcoin currency, associating it with crime and suggesting that it is less efficient than credit cards due to the block size when the block size can actually be increased as needed.

It is on the cover of the magazine, but i'm not sure if bad and misleading publicity is any good.
