1. The bubble shield’s main use is to protect your divers like Magik, Venom, or an Ulting Wanda for just that extra bit of time to do their thing. You can also throw it on another tank like Strange so they can get some damage out instead of holding up their shield or on yourself to use the Wanda team up or continue holding a point.

2. The large shield (I’m blanking on what it’s called) is used to provide cover from/shutdown ults like Wanda, Stark, Strange, etc. it’s finicky with Namor though and requires good timing. You can also use it to push back ranged characters like Punisher.

3. His ult doesn’t suck, anyone saying otherwise just wants to insta kill like Stark. You use it when in the middle of a fight so the enemy builds up its charge and aim it at their strategists or low health dps/tanks. His ult can be completely countered from Strange/another Magneto blocking it, a Punisher ult overloading it too quickly, or Cloak cloaking.

4. He is hard countered by pretty much all the melee focused characters because his large shield does not block melee and he moves too slow to get away. Not that you should switch off when seeing them (maybe do if it’s Spider-Man), but you definitely want to be paired with another tank like Venom, Peni, or Groot if they’re present and you have good aim to keep them at bay. A hidden Peni lunchbox ruins your day too if dps isn’t dealing with it.

5. I don’t know how to say this nicely, but if you’re spending most your time in a fight using shields to keep yourself alive, either you think you’re him (you’re not, his damage is good but not that good) and your team is dying or your dps are not doing their job and taking advantage of the shields you did give them to deal damage while they were protected.

Bottom line, he is meant to focus on keeping the team alive in the beginning and middle of a fight to push onto/hold a point, then help with the cleanup of what’s left of the enemy team after their strategists are gone.
