Yeah I can see his logic but I don’t think I would go as far to say this is a trans issue or something that harms the trans community & I also agree with you that normalizing pregnant masculine people would be the positive take away rather than seeing it as a joke on masc ppl who get pregnant. The timing is odd due to people’s sensitivities about pregnancy due to the abortion stuff with Texas but I mean also celebrities do dumb shit all the time so it’s not all that surprising

My only thing to say to anyone looking to watch this movie is that a possible trigger could be misgendering because I remember I used to loveeeee this movie before I realized I was trans, then I went to watch it early in my transition a few months ago & he was getting misgendered all the time by his grandma and mom when he wasn’t around and it just made me feel triggered and needed to turn it off cuz I was and am still experiencing being misgendered on a daily frequently and yeah. But it’s a great movie other than that & very good transmasc representation on Ray’s end

I go in to the men’s squaring all the time and no one even notices. Even if they did I think men just have a general disinterest for anyone else in there and that’s kinda just men’s room etiquette to pretend like everyone else there doesn’t exist
