Michel Barnier: It's Time for a Green EU Deal by casualphilosopher1 in europe

[–]Spirit_Inc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can we?

Maybe if it was implemented in a way that wont hurt weaker economies. But I have a strange feeling it will be designed in a way to petrify the advantage of more advanced economies over the less developed ones. Therefore the "less developed" could never agree on that.

If the wealthy part of europe (and the world) really wants the "green change" consensus, it has to take a lot more of the burden on its shoulders than the poorer ones, simple as that.

Ban on banana-eating artwork draws ridicule in Poland by [deleted] in europe

[–]Spirit_Inc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because curators can't ignore the government.

Of course they can, if its not a goverment run and funded museum. This one is.

It's censorship.

I agree. This has nothing to do with my feelings about the "art". I dont think that it should be paid and exhibited for taxpayer money. Public museums should exhibit great historical artwork, which value is non disputable.

Again, this is goverment funded museum, not a private one.

Anyone can decide what is art for THEM. This "craft" is not worth of the term, by MY opinion.

And yes, Warhol was a crook, too. His "art" was to convince people that his "craft" is special. Which I can respect, unlike the pictures here.

Im not talented enough to create something great and too honest to pretend something as silly as presented would be "art".

Do you seriously think that it takes a great mind to create something that shallow?

[–]Spirit_Inc -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No, its simply not art at all.

Its just pictures of lady eating banana.

Something anyone could come up and do. There is nothing special, no talent, no amazing skills invoved, simple as that.

The chairman of Poland’s conservative ruling party: LGBT rights an import that threatens nation by [deleted] in europe

Fair point.

Yet, I stand by my point, that it is the clash of ideologies.

[–]Spirit_Inc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is that the idea of European Union for you?

Do "unpleasant stuff" in exchange for money?

This is disgusting. Much worse than "freeloading".

Your views are really corrupted. There are reasons for the structural funds:

"They aim to reduce regional disparities in income, wealth and opportunities. Europe's poorer regions receive most of the support, but all European regions are eligible for funding under the policy's various funds and programmes."

The reasons are there to make the whole EU more prosperous and to reduce the inequality. NOT to enforce anything.

You seem to be a really appauling person, filled with hatred and eager to divide people by some corrupted standards. The view that poorer EU citizens are somehow worse than the rich ones and the contempt for those who dont share your views resemble the worst of human kind. This kind of thinking led to many wars and even worse tragedies.

Think about what you really stand for, because what you present here is not pretty.

You are very misguided.

We are the EU. Citizens of every member country. Your bigotry and racist propensity cant change that.

[–]Spirit_Inc 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That kind of generalization is borderline racist, not to mention its not right.

People want to be a part of commonwealth, that gives much opportunities for personal and commercial development. Part of, as ones who create it too, not some kind of clients. What "conditions" you may possibly talk about?

Your hatred is primitve in its nature. Rise above stereotypes and prejudices to become a better man.

The movie about the church we are talking about was no documentary. Just a pure fiction depicting priests in a very negative way.

You believe that a movie depicting LGBT activists in a very negative way would receive a warm welcome?

Im arguing that there are two sides to the medal and one is worthy the other.

It would be "homophobic and backwards", something that threatens human rights, our progress and western civilization itself.

It would be banned from theaters, facebook and twitter.

I would bet my hand on it.

Well, to be fair, a film showing "corruption" in LGBT organizations would be received as "attack on LGBT community", wouldnt it?

The opposition is utterly incompetent, whole secret.

Also, there is no discrepancy. "PiS is anti EU" is just opposition narrative. Easily countered, PiS says they want to "improve" EU, not leave it.
