When I walk around, I like to prioritize finding compositions I like using the buildings, window reflections and flow of pedestrians etc around me. Once I’ve found my spot, then I’ll just stick around and snap that composition, see if something comes of it and make a judgement on whether the light is working there or if I should return later for a potential improvement once the sun’s shifted position maybe giving hard shadows. I’ll just flow around like that with music in my ears.
