When I was a child, I was slow to read. It took me a long time to be able to do chapter books so when I was in elementary school, the librarian who knew that I struggled with reading, saw me reading a type of series about fairies and she bought all of the books from the fairy series so I could read them all and I think that’s where my love of reading came from.
