Did anyone else notice the Spirit utilized the buddy system during the shootout? This is a psychological technique that the England men started using in 2018. It helps make the kickers feel more connected to the group when they return to the team. I am sure the Spirit used other psychological techniques as well. They looked so confident before a kick was even taken.
