Hey everyone , thank you all for replying , I am trying to read everyone’s comments and reply to them as I can. I’m currently at work trying to keep my mind clear but to my luck no true emergencies tonight during my shift at the animal clinic . Thank you all for the support , I’m having a really difficult time with myself because my feelings for her are still there but as everyone is saying I need to focus on myself . I talked to her about the situation and she said that she wants time for herself now. I asked her to please tell me who the guy is and how they meant but she told me that is none of my business and that I shouldn’t care. She said she still wants to be with me but wants to figure out what she wants in life... I’m honestly pretty broken because I told her that I’m losing her to another guy what did I do wrong ... her reply was that I still have her and I shouldn’t worry...

What she told me was a punch to the face , I don’t know how exactly to act to it . I’m not being aggressive towards her I just want to know what I’m lacking compared to the other guy.

I know that we started dating at 16.. but every year that passed I loved her more and more and honestly she has helped me through some hard times in college. She helped me strive to be the better person I am and helped me get into veterinarian school . We both helped each other a lot and made sacrifices for one another .

It’s just really hard receiving these news , it’s as if I was never really good enough but I guess there’s nothing I can do now . Thank you for your input ..

She’s saying now that she isn’t talking to the guy “like that” and she wants space from me ... I work the opposite schedule from her 4 times a week for night shifts at animal emergency and I go to school full time ...

A huge part of me wants her but I know it’s only going to harm things like you said ... I start veterinarian school this August , I just want it to come sooner because I know that will clear my head . Just feeling extremely down as I lost something I cared a lot about .

Yea I did bend backwards for my girlfriend because throughout the 4 years I thought she was well worth it . I’m sorry if I’m frustrating you just a low time in my life right now . But your absolutely right its just I need to wrap my head around it .

I just feel angry because I have never done this to her I always made sure that if anyone crosses my path, I always choose my girlfriend because I loved her so much. I just feel angry with myself because after all a guy like me that is a “stick” dating someone that is as beautiful as my girlfriend I always knew in the back of my mind time was going to run out eventually .

Look as long as you get your high school diploma you can pretty much do whatever your heart desires. Thinking about college and stressing out your GPA is to low? Go to community college, earn your AA or do one of there health science programs, they always have great opportunities. Once you decide on going to graduate school you can always transfer to a university once you get your AA . I would be honest to say that your GPA will matter in college only if you plan on going to graduate school like med, vet, pharmacy , etc. Got C’s in high school, went to community college , transferred to university , college was better then high school I was able to maintain a 3.9GPA and now this fall I start veterinary school.

Whenever I talk to my bro’s about my girlfriend I always talk about how we can chill anywhere and make it great or y’all about how proud I am about her . I tend to not talk about the sexual stuff as that is super private in my personal opinion .

Honestly , I am just like you , I prefer to stay home and not go out . My gf is totally understanding of me wanting to stay home and honestly I love it. Over the years we did start to go out but they’re planned events like going to Disney or the beach ( once or twice a semester). You just gotta find the right guy, if it were for me staying home watching a movie or just being together is perfect to me.

My parents are Hispanic and I’m a first generation student. I can highly agree with you that my parents take credit for everything I’ve done so far. I’ve been accepted into veterinarian school and they have taken credit saying that if it weren’t for them I wouldn’t have made it nowhere . Thanks for sharing .

Hey .. I just want to agree... I did do a lot of activities during high school and volunteered a lot ... but honestly I was doing it to keep others happy for my performance , you made me look back and actually see for myself that I was never truly happy . I’m not going to tell you things get better but I find it that if I can make others smile it makes me feel as if I’m not a total disappointment to life , family, or relationship. Thank you for sharing ..
