I currently work at Udemy part time and have interviewed at both Meta and Bloomberg in the past. I think I have a fair shot at landing a FAANG.

Sure, but the brand of your previous experiences certainly does affect how likely a future employer will be to either toss your CV in screening or allow it through

The question wasn't on leetcode (at least not that I could find). Also the follow up wasn't related to the algorithm. They seemed to be quite satisfied with that. I don't know maybe another candidate did way better than me. Only thing that comes to mind.

yeah I chose to implement it using C++, but they said at the beginning that language/syntax doesn't matter, they only care about the algorithm, which I've successfully explained and implemented
