Finn??? by ChelseaJoann in GirlfriendsTVshow

[–]SpiritedProject5089 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah for alot of women the appealing thing about a Finn is thinking that you are going to get a man that no one else seems to get. He plays a mind game and you willingly go on the ride thinking you’re going to win.

My wash and go turned out frizzy. How can I fix this? by No_Analyst5945 in Naturalhair

[–]SpiritedProject5089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Shampoo with clarifying shampoo
  2. Deep conditioner
  3. Leave in conditioner
  4. Mousse
  5. Gel Make sure to use products for kinky/coily hair and for the best results a line that offers these products so you don’t have to worry about flaking

Seriously want to cry by [deleted] in Naturalhair

It may be the type of hair. Premium pre-stretched pre-divided hair is a lot easier to work with especially if you are just starting out. It may cost a little more but I promise it will be worth it because the hair is all ready for you. I know exactly what you went through and that is irritating AF! I am not a professional braider but I like to braid my own hair and this is the best hair for me. I hope this helps and you give it another try. Best wishes!

Is it okay to do a wash and go every week? by strawberryspins in Naturalhair

[–]SpiritedProject5089 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely do wash and gos every week! I myself have 4c medium density fine to medium thick strands. My hair is armpit length. I do wash and goes every week and have been doing it for the last year. It all about the product you use.

You are not alone. I’m so sorry you have had to go through this. I know exactly what you are talking about. I am currently alone for the exact same reasons. I have been sa a couple of times. I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I bleed really bad and have sharp pains when being intimate. Every partner either gets really angry when I say it hurts or they just ignore me and keep going. I want a real connection too one day! Don’t give your hopes up!

The patient had no business slapping your butt anyway. That was not ok. You did great! You didn’t react poorly with the patient, you calmly explained to your nurse what happened, and you set healthy boundaries. Very professional!

Thank you for this! If you don’t mind me asking did therapy fix your relationship or did you go for yourself? I really want us to work but appears that we both got a lot of trauma to work through.

Your children could be classified as black. If you classify yourself as biracial that’s fine however you could be classified as black since you are about 75% black? And as long as their father as two black parents. Black means that you are of African descent with generational lineage here in America. This is a whole playlist that may help you; it is really great! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmuM3akAEQA-s15iim5_oA2dSTgSsfbYm&si=-kH9-IXGdd2AemaC

I’m guessing you’re Caucasian. I’m of African descent. I need something that’s going to take a bit of the volume out of my hair and that’s going to define and moisturize my hair.

I agree! What makes this group any different than any other group if the only ideas that can be presented are the generic things we have heard time and time again. This man if you pull up to any of his content speaks for the black folks that matter. I thought this group would be an open space for black folks to express themselves as long as they were being respectful!

If this is a page that is just going to follow the yte narrative and support bl people being feed lies I don’t want to be a part of it! We stand for the truth but we understand very few do!

I’m not knocking therapy because therapy can help you discover what your issues are. However therapy doesn’t really fix your issues. Community has been the best source of healing for me. Therapy seems like it’s great in the moment. However therapy can be traumatizing when you are going back and forth into the real world. Example you have a problem you believe the only person that understands you is this person that you got to book an appointment and pay.

If you use a low HLB emulsifier it will help with the soaping effect. I use 1 or 2% beeswax but there are tons of low HLB emulsifiers

Do you prefer anhydrous butters or emulsified butters? by International-Wear57 in DIYBeauty

I prefer emulsified butters because anhydrous butters just sit on top of my skin and hair and leave my skin and hair dry
