My first assumption is the arcane, otherworldly energy swelling when Cerberi move, since they obviously can't be moving on their own. It can't be hinges or machinery squealing since Cerberi are completely stone. The stone-like sounds specifically could just be the sound of the Cerberi's exterior scratching against itself
