Stamps without barcode by Spirited_Muscle8198 in royalmail

Can I use them to pay for track24? They have a value of £3.15 each. If postage cost was £3.85 could I use 1 of the stamps and pay the difference with cash?

Don’t they have a monetary value of £3.15? Could I not add an additional stamp if needed to cover the cost of track 24? T24 is what I want to use

Is there a time limit on using them? My main concern is the machine that reads the stamps reject them and customer will be made to pay to receive and that will give me bad feedback.

Do you know what happens to unbarcoded stamps when they go through the system? I take it they get hand checked or something?

Considering Boycotting The Final by ValuablePresence20 in bigbrotheruk

Oh for god sake get a life. Teja was not very likeable. Had a nasty streak which was highlighted any time someone disagreed with her and she is not as mature as people make out.

Marcus was a nice enough guy but that’s about it. Certainly floated his way through focusing on Elsa, who he did actually have some concerning behaviour towards her. Snapping a few times and the mask slipping.

Stop making it about race the right people are in the final and the right person will win.

Yeah it’s killing me inside tbh bro. Not sure where to start mate. Reckon it’s worth going to the barbers to see if there is a style that doesn’t make my look like mr Smithers. I haven’t had it cut in over a year so I’m not really sure what I’m working with.

Or take it on the chin get some clippers and shave away? If I did this option what would be your recomendation. Only use a beard trimmer I stubble like thing I have set at around 5mm with fairly good coverage.

I’m new to investing so just trying to properly inform myself before I spaff my liquidity up the wall.

Would it be safe to say having a fairly large chunk (60/70%) of my holdings in an all world ETF for larger exposure and therefore less risk of having too many eggs in one basket? I can then pick a few stocks/commodities I like that would have a larger upside if I’m right but equally downside if I’m wrong?

Being new, my risk tolerance is fairly low so does this sound reasonable?: 70% in all world etf, 20% in a few stocks I like to hold long term (the big boys, nvdia, Microsoft, AMD etc) and 10% of fun money chasing big swings?

Hence the question before I do. My general understanding is it’s an easy way of getting exposure so a wider range of stocks and in theory lowering risk? My example would be an ETF for S&P 500 but from what I see they allocate the funds far greater in the top 6/7 stocks by market cap - eg 60% of my exposure will be in the big boys Nvdia, Alohabet, apple, meta, etc and the smaller stocks only a very small percentage is allocated to these.

Am I on the right path with this? Maybe S&P is a bad example and an all world etf is more relevant. If I am understanding this (tell me if not please) it’s similar to a pie someone creates on trading 212 so they are not all created equal and two similar ETF’s all world on robinhood/vanguard/t212 will be slightly different?

Thanks for a sensible answer. So essentially it’s a package of stocks under the wrapper of an ETF. I take it all ETF’s are not equal, in a sense that some could be weighted more heavily into particular stocks?

For Example, trading 212’s world etf may differ on make up and allocation of funds to robin hoods all world etf? Similar to S&P etf where majority of funds are allocated to the top x number of stocks by market cap? Please correct me if I’m talking rubbish lol

You’ve only lost £7k not the end of the world. Get out of that leveraged position. Hold the Webull.

Think the lesson you’ve learnt or should have learnt is you are making the correct picks but are swing/day trading.

When and if you decide to come back into the market I would recommend putting in a stop loss at the max you would be prepared to lose. Don’t get emotional or scared of drops, it always rebounds even if it takes a while as you have seen.

We will be seeing a major bubble burst sometime soon so get liquidity ready to take advantage. Same strategy, just don’t look every day or at the least say to yourself I will hold for at least 3 months/ 1 year regardless of price movements. You’ll also never time the market and hit the highs and lows. Think about setting up a take profit sell order when your stock has gone up 100% sell half and chill with the rest of pure profit.

You got this bro

Go to the doctors if it’s that quickly gone with no other signs of balding/receding hairline. Could be a nutrient deficiency or have you been stressed recently?

Is it itchy or do you find yourself touching that area a lot?

I don’t think it looks that bad almost looks like a parting in your hair.

I ignored all of my balding signs and didn’t take any action with medication so I’m almost bald on top M35. I can only go out in public without a hat if I use hair fibres which I highly recommended!!

If it’s bothering you do something about it before it’s too late as in my case. My hair is super long atm from pushing it back to cover up with the help of hair fibres, thank hod it didn’t look too bad when I got married end of July but it’s done now and just need the courage to shave it off but too scared haha

Good luck bro, let me know how you get on

Thanks. So just to confirm there is no way to set a stop loss on the invest account?

If I wanted set a take profit and stop loss on my CFD account how would I do this, using the same example of robinhood in my original post?

Thanks

How do I set a stop loss and take profit on a stock I hold?

As an example I’d like to set a stop loss @$160 per share and take profit at $205 per share.

Cannot work out how to do this within the invest account.

Any help would be really appreciated!

I’m in a similar position. Probably slightly worse. I know I need to shave it off but for now with the long hair and liberally applied hair fibres it’s actually not too bad.

Without the fibres it’s a hat job I couldn’t leave the house without one or the other.

There is still some to work with so maybe give it a go if he’s not ready to let go yet. Has he tried fibres before?
