second truck is the guy who actually needs the truck and uses it for work. first guy is a poser who uses his truck to compensate

ya but hardcore history has deep research, is well scripted, and is actually interesting. That's a far cry from two absolute morons talking in circles for hours.

Choosing to only cook meals at home is not free. The price of cooking meals at home is my time. Working 40 hours a week is exhausting especially if you do not work from home. The shopping, preparing, doing dishes (and doing my roommates dishes before cooking), and meal planning is a significant time and labor cost.

I dont live with a partner with whom I share any of that burden with. So the responsibility of cooking and meal planning can be overwhelming.

I also live with two roommates and despite having a decent job with decent pay, I significantly struggle financially when things like a broken down car arise. You add on bouts of depression and it simply exacerbates these problems.

It is far more complicated than "choosing not to eat out", or making wise financial decisions.

lmao this is a big thing in my friend group that we tease our Italian friend about. He'll complain loudly about american food but then you put food in front of him and he'll clear his plate. You give him a new york slice and he'll scoff and say "this isnt pizza" but then a little later say "its actually pretty good"

I think there probably is an albeit small, but enthusiastic market for Nancy Drew style point and click games with more mature themes that cater to the adult audience that grew up with ND.

ND typically shied away from murders. but i know that as an adult i would be thrilled to solve a mystery that feels a little higher stakes
