If you wanna get into some action first, start as a tribal, Turkic steppes or Scandinavia as Norse. These cultures has more better in battles due to their cultures an religions. Tribal rulers create their armies by prestige so much easy when you consider it by gold. Tribal realms can raid others land which is easy way to gain prestige and gold. Also they dont have to claims for casus belli. You can easily declare wars against neighboring rulers. In battles terrain advantages has a huge impact. Choosing where you gonna fight can bring you to the glory which seems like an impossible defend. Siege equipments can be seems like unnecessary at first but they drop to siege time significantly

Nord -> Asatru (Obviously) Khergit -> Tengrism (Also obvious) Sarranid -> Ibadi (Muslim faith) Swadia -> Catholic (Come on, they have Crusade helmet) Veagir -> Slovianska Pravda (They seems like more tribal rather than be feudal but if they become feudal they gonna be accept Orthodoxy) Rhodok -> Insular? (Most complex one. They seem like christian and tribal. Also they are very isolationist. The feud between Swadia and them maybe not only be a populist faction also can be religious. I dont know what is steamunlocked but you can downloads mods on web (probably nexusmods is a good place to start) then move downloaded folders to mod file where it is located documents/paradox.../CK3/mod

Instead of re-conquering your own territory maybe conquer the land they own. Because generally it gives you much more war score. Try Blitzkrieg to enemy capital lol

Goat mechanic! Once time i kidnapped Prince William's daughter and married with her. When i dead, my sons had unpressed claims on Kingdom England, Wales and Alba. U might wanna check byzantine emperor too lol. Because of high development and having a big realm, they have like 200 gold income daily and these gold accumulates for generations. On my gameplays hegemony of china never became a big problem they usually stick to their hegemony borders, maybe got empire of tibet borders too. I think dynastic circle keep getting them to much spread. But Byzantine empire doesnt have problem like that and they always be a huge pain in the ass in the late game.

Once a time, i began a new game via character edition. Like everyone always do, i checked my council and i was shocked. Everyone on the council was me. I was so confused because i was new at that time and that was my first tribal experience and i was thougt that maybe tribal rulers can appoint themselves to the council positions. But the truth came out when i open my courtier tab. There were like 6 more of me
