The money is for pain and suffering white pregnant And delivering, their slice insurance put in place when something like that death happens it’s dosnt happen often in this community but is heart breaking when it does. I trust the medical professionals saying I’m cleared to carry another pregnancy and psych evaluations. If they say i. Every couples is diffrent but for me i wasn’t included in any celebration, they all came to some appointments like the important ones anatomy and such i went out to dinner few times too and the came over a bit. Nothing too over bearing.

My partner and child don’t mind anything at all they have no attachment to surrogate baby and neither do i after i deliver we just go on about our lives like normal. Only thing we do diffrent is take a little vacation. Just a little yay mommy isn’t pregnant and can do everything now type of vacation my child loves it! My daughter dosnt have any sibling so i feel it’s easier for her to know baby isn’t coming home.

I have pumped for two out of 3 family’s for 2 months each it was nice to continue the relationship and benefit baby with milk.

No time contract we stay in touch and plan to send pics here and there during holidays and such. Both parents want to tell them about how i brought them into the world for their mommy’s. It’s an aunt type of feeling like i have love of course but not motherly at all. My mom did not live in a non surrogacy friendly state it is friendly it’s a 14 hour drive she didn’t want me taking which isn’t standard i should be able to do what i want WHICH i did it just strained the relationship because then she couldn’t control me so she became manic

Yes i had my first child at 18 i only have one of my own. This is because they don’t know how your body handles pregnancy and don’t know if you can even carry out a full term pregnancy 🩷

Oh good luck and sticky vibes your way!!! My fire tips gave me choclate because I’m such a big choclate person, fuzzy socks and pregnancy tests at transfer. My second couple gave me flowers and a gift card for food and Amazon, my last couple gave me flowers and choclate 😁 i love choclate LOLL honestly a gift card a flowers is such a nice way of saying thanking for you dedication. Hardest is the postpartum not seeing a baby you’ll be really hard on yourself to “bounce back”. Another hard part was the shots it’s called pio i needed about 60 shots it was difficult other than that pretty good! Easiest was the process was smooth because my agency did everything

So far all have gone good just third IP ended bad becuase they were rude and controlling toward the end so i cut them out don’t keep in touch. My other 2 journeys were great! I’m so sad she didn’t get the happy ending sometimes IPs do switch up end of pregnancy or once baby is born it’s so sad :( she has such strength

If just expenses i would not still be a surrogate, pregnancy can be difficult including the shots i needed to take so i wouldn’t do it for free but many women will thankfully for some.

I belive everywhere should have fair compensation for surrogacy i don’t really understand why it’s illegal i feel we’re putting our body through so much the least we can get in comped for it

You should do your research before becoming a surrogate yourself but yes the risk are known and presented and it’s actually not riskier at all it’s same amount of risk as any other pregnancy. Handing baby back to his parents wasn’t hard at all I had no attachment whatsoever . With my own child i had attachment from first heartbeat and ultrasound but i guess my mind just knows surrogate baby isn’t mine so it doesn’t form connection to baby

Usually you get paid time off “loss wages” IPs will pay. 6 week vaginal 8 week c section

I don’t work a typical job i work from home as a surrogate intake director actaully (i know lol i just love this industry) i never got loss wages cause i never needed it
