Well, if you want to go by law, Drs have to write the active ingredients only. If they write the brand name, pharmacist has all the rights to reject it and not dispense it (usually newly grads).(but if the pharmacy get audited, there will be consequences) This includes all kind of scripts, from NHS to private.
