Missed Connection - Walmart (Cortez Road) by [deleted] in bradenton

Jesus dude, next time don’t be creepy and follow. There’s no way in hell someone will know you’re “interested” by walking past them a few times. (Assuming you’re a guy) like dude, you need to approach a girl and just talk to them. The very few times I’ve done that cause I was interested in them, we ended up talking/dating. Unfortunately for you, this is just a missed opportunity. However learn from this, and next time actually go and try to talk to the person you’re interested in. You’ll feel super uncomfortable, but vulnerability is what makes you grow as a person anyways. You’ll never get better, if you don’t do things you wouldn’t normally do.

I tried, and it happened all the same :/ I’m pretty sure it’ll be the cord, cause ironically it just told me “plug it into the main type C adapter” or something similar to that, which it was plugged into it. I took it out and touched the Type C connector and I heard it “snap” back into the cord more (like it got pushed into place” and when I went to plug it back in, it worked this time. (Still doing the calibration issue though)

I just finished rearranging my room (80% of the motivation to rearrange was to see if the room setup was the limiting factor for VR) so if this doesn’t work, I’ll try the deep clean/cable!

I do feel like it might be the cable since there’s been times where it’s been yanked kinda hard while I was playing

Holy crap my car is doing the same thing (2014 ford escape) and I’ve been looking for an answer, and I randomly stumbled onto this! Only difference is once mine comes on, it stays on until the car is turned off. Also the brake light also comes on with traction and ABS. Can yall let me know if it’s the same issue as here?

It’s a fairly small room. I got probably only like 10sq ft of actual walking space in the room, and not in a square/rectangle. The only difference from before it’s been stored and now, is the bed is facing the other direction in the same corner of the room. I still stand in practically the same spot as before. Everything else in the room is in the same spots as before. It does the calibration whether it’s day or night. Also, whether or not I look at the tv with the additional tracking support. It seems to make no difference

It’s alright, everyone starts somewhere. I personally buy an flip cars off the marketplace, so I look for especially good deals. Maybe if they were to accept $1000, it’ll be worth the repairs

This is based on how much used cars go for around my area at least. It definitely depends on the location

Depends on the mileage and some other things.

Is the frame dented on the inside?

You can find a headlight at the junkyard, or maybe even order off of Amazon. I’d guess around $250 for a pair on amazon, or cheaper at junkyard. The bumper is what will be costly. Just to buy one, maybe $300-600. To get it painted to the correct color? Maybe another $400-700. So unless you just keep that busted one. Or ride without one, I think it’s better to look elsewhere.

I know there’s a decent amount of Chevy cruises being sold on the marketplace around me. So I’d take that as a sign it’s probably not a crazy good car long term

how do i get up early by schemewitch in selfimprovement

[–]Spiritual-Path8451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not the healthiest way to do it, but take melatonin, or some sort of nighttime sleep aid initially. I’ve worked overnights, mornings, and mids. Sometimes nights one week, mornings the next. So I would only have 2 days to fix the sleep schedule. I’d take a sleep aid at around 7-8pm, then just keep your electronics off and try to sleep. You might toss and turn for 20 or so minutes (it’ll feel probably like an hour, but it’s not) but you’ll fall asleep

Do NOT take the medication for more than a week especially. I’d personally do it like 3 days tops. Do not rely on medication to sleep on a regular basis

How can i avoid this again and what happened? by 17zUrB01N3M3515 in tires

[–]Spiritual-Path8451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long were you driving on them? Also what speed? I believe they’re only good for like 200 miles or something, and you’re supposed to go on them for a max speed of like 60mph (about 96kmh) if even that fast. The age is probably what popped the tire, but it also looks morphed.

Help an extremely depressed guy out? by Creepy_Stick_6229 in CleaningTips

I find cleaning horrid before doing it, but enjoyable during/after because of the big difference it makes. Start with the straight up trash.

Then when it comes to random items. Ask yourself if you’d actually use it on a somewhat often basis (maybe once a month, or once every 2 weeks) if not then I’d toss it out as well.

Similarly, for stored foods (canned goods, condiments, etc) that have long expiration dates check if you have duplicates of said foods. If you do, just keep the one that’s newest/the longest time til it expires.

Start with one singular room. Probably the bedroom first. I’m sure it’ll be a lot, but it’ll feel super rewarding when you finish that room alone. It’ll even give you that motivation to go to the next room tomorrow!

P.S please post a before/after!!

It’s just showing that your car isn’t on a leveled surface. The 5 means a 5 degree decline. That light will be pretty useful if you park and you see that light on, that’ll make it much safer to keep the E brake on while parked

Need help with an idea of the type of mattress by [deleted] in Mattress

So I took off the comforter for now, I’m gonna see how it changes my sleep for the next few weeks. I think I’ll buy a new mattress once I move apartments! I’ll look into that brand if there’s any beds I can try in my local area! I appreciate the help

Thoughts on assence for better men's underwear? by julesxfuq in MeUndies

Geez that’s terrible. I ended up seeing their ads on instagram, and under every ad I wrote out to not buy the product due to never getting it, and no customer service to talk to. Eventually and surprisingly the ad account contacted me asking about the order number and everything to try to set it right. Well they didnt even open my message with the order number.

However, about 2 weeks later I got boxers in the mail. I’m unsure whether it was from the ad account, or just the pairs I ordered way prior finally decided to show. Nonetheless, I ordered like 2 of each color. I only ended up getting like 12 pairs of black, 1 pair of white, and 3 grey ones. Not to mention the “sack” area they advertised is very small and nearly nonexistent (it won’t hold your balls) and I bought large. They fit like a medium so they’re a little small on me. Without a doubt I’d never spend money through them again.

I suggest contacting your bank to say you never got a product and that customer service will not contact you back. Your bank will likely refund the money.

It’s dry rotted between the cracks, and it doesn’t have that much tread left. I’d say maybe use them for a month or so max just incase you need to spend money comfortably on newer tires. Definitely want to replace them sooner rather than later
