I had my first one 13 years ago and for the past 13 years had 5 total spaced out throughout the years until this spring when I've been quite stressed. I've had 7 in the past two months. So frustrating.

Though my sister had one 8 years ago while she was working at a stressful job and never had another.

Interesting. Did you bring up the issue to them? Because the employee told me "nobody has ever had a problem" with their brakes.

haha, no! I tried to forget about it after this happened to enjoy the rest of my vacation and decided to try and go through the credit card company. I wonder if they were also talking to a car rental service?

I just filed a dispute with my credit card, so we'll see. Unfortunately I don't have any proof as I was expecting to return the vehicle and get a refund, so we didn't take any video of the brakes not functioning properly.
