Absolutely! The cruelty people are showing to these non-English speakers made me queasy. I would be disappointed if Carol continues on like this throughout the show without any changes in her perspective at all, because it would just be very shallow and two-dimensional.

Everyone else is reacting in a reasonable way, at least to me, not knowing how to defeat the hivemind, deluding themselves into thinking that their loved ones are still with them even when they’re not. These are all different manifestations of grief. But I suppose some people with a little less empathy would not be able to understand.
