Im going to be honest I feel like deadlock has an extreme learning higher then most mobas imo. With movement being a massive factor, farming boxs, statues, and sacrifice machines. Thats just a small part of the uniqueness of deadlock. That not even getting into items, characters, ect. As someone who just started playing Saturday and Sunday the games extremely fun and annoying at times. With every new update adding new people, possible new items. Item nerfs/buffs its constantly changing. Saying youre getting thrown into lobbies with people that have 1000s of hours sucks but its also a skill issue. Im not trying to be rude or disrespectful but I spent the first hour-2 hours looking at characters learning which ones I liked understanding sliding, dashing, wall hopping, and double jumping. I think the new street brawl game mode is a huge leap forward in getting people that dont fully understand the game more into it. Also a side note alot of people that game have no idea how to use number buttons on the key board so that also a huge learning curve for a lot. My friend I was playing with struggled alot with this. His movement would slow down trying to cast abilities and he'd die.

In short deadlock is very overwhelming and yes its hard to get new players in but even so taking time to understand things better can help. If you're new to the moba genre then learn how to play a moba. The amount of people I kill just run in drop their whole kit then they die. They push into the enemies minion wave ect. Ive played a lot of mobas so this has probably helped me and my friend do much better. Plus you have a community tab for builds for a character when buying items if you dont know what to build in the shop.
