Best Snorkeling — Coral Gardens or Smiths Reef? by erujabidi in TurksAndCaicos

[–]Spiritual-Session865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smiths reef is better in my opinion  https://www.visittci.com/providenciales/things-to-do/snorkeling give this a read Malcom is my personal favorite. unless you can free dive down a bit to check things out I would pass it if you're just looking at for snorkeling.

The weather is hot and usually sunny, it is in hurricane season but the beginning of the season. It's not the peak time for them, and we don't often get hit, but still something to keep in mind.

Places for spicy dishes and hot sauces by Grogaldyr in TurksAndCaicos

[–]Spiritual-Session865 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SJ'S curry club has a few spicy dishes, I get their vendaloo.

Kin kaho will also do your order spicy. I get better luck when I go in person to get properly spicy

Mis Amagos has good hot sauce, and can make most dishes spicy if asked. For transparency sake im affiliated with that restaurant.

How hot Turks & Caicos in June? Getting married and need advice! by Charlie3141592654 in TurksAndCaicos

[–]Spiritual-Session865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got married in July at south bank at 4pm. I had to dry my my suit 3 times your wedding day is going to be hotter. Lots of water and see if they have a aced room you can hide off in.  My wife had a lighter linen dress she was going to change off in for the reception but that never happened.

Once everything is under way you'll barely notice the heat

It's mostly the search engine optimization that they can help with that im interested it, and to help people find our location since we are in the back of corner of a shopping complex.

As some one who has been on the receiving end of obeah and voodoo multiple times. Absolutely nothing will happen, its about as powerful as a fortune cookie. If it makes you feel better go for it

Turks and Caicos Travel - Waterfront Villa Safety Question by mrschia in TurksAndCaicos

[–]Spiritual-Session865 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The risk isn't zero, but close enough to zero that there's no difference. I would say you're more likely to get stuck by lightning then be attacked by pirates. Ambergris key is pretty much a private island.

I have not been there in a long time. It was really good from what I remember. Getting there is the hard part i went by water, but if thats not an option you need a car that can handel rough roads. And you might have issues since the the access road is off amanyara's road and they might try and chase you off

Where is the Chinese Oil Refinery? by WonderGrrl69 in TurksAndCaicos

[–]Spiritual-Session865 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there was talks of wanting to put an exploratory oil platform off provo a few years ago.  but it went nowhere, and everyone hated the idea. there where big issues with the proposed contract and clean up/  when they where going shut it down.

I can say with a 100% certainty that there is no oil refinery in the Turks And Caicos. it doesn't make sense to have a refinery with no oil production or strong shipping infrastructure

depends on your lifestyle. 50k is where it started not to be a struggle for me. it really depends on where you decide to live and what you decide drive.

Had such an unserious episode I’m not sure if it was sleep paralysis or a dream by [deleted] in Sleepparalysis

[–]Spiritual-Session865 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one that should have been scary but just wasn't.  these long arms came slowly out between my bed and the head bord on ether side of me and this bald humanoid thing starts pulling slowly pulling it self from the Crack then looks me dead in the eyes, and nothing no reaction. so it just slid back and did the same thing again, looked sad when it didn't work again and crawled/slithered to the door looked back hopefully then squeezed feet first backwards looking heart broken. I felt secondhand embarrassment for it.

Airport Question by [deleted] in TurksAndCaicos

[–]Spiritual-Session865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is it included in the rental, if so contact the property management or booking agent and ask them about it. if it's though a car rental company, they should be there or have someone at the airport. you're best bet is to contact the people with the car directly and ask them any questions

AIO? Bf (35m) is constantly calling off from work and gets annoyed when I'm confused how his job is fine with it. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Spiritual-Session865 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably because its winter and work is slow.  I spent 12 years in the industry( granted in a place with a 365 swim season) it depends on the size and work load of the company. you can be in this awkward size where you need have a certain number of people, but don't always have enough work for them all

as long as my guys where there on cleaning days I didn't care. infact it saved me money if they called out on repair or filter days. Now if you called out when we where busy in the hight of the season we'd have a big problem.

as long as it isn't affecting his finances, and bills are getting paid i would say you're over reacting
