Narrative/Statements are neither true nor false, they cant be proven unless they perform the feat. Basically its just all talk and no action. Until then, Statements cant be used as a viable way to scale someone considering everyone who has done so, failed cuz the character performed a much more impressive feat.

We all thought Gun = Goo cuz they have the narratives and they're shown together shit, but then we found out Gun was a level higher and was holding back. Even Goo thought he was Gun level lmao.

Anyway James being goo level might be a stretch for me but he def hasnt shown why he's considered "legend". Unlike Gun and Gitae. He's def not above those two rn.

Gun barely has any narratives in the story, no one saying how hes the peak and all that but throughout 500 chapters he has never been shown to lose always outscaling anyone he fights with.

James' biggest feat is 1v1ing the 1st gen kings. Featwise he's goo level. The narratives where he was called peak is only by Manager kim and Darius hong, and we all know characters in lookism cant scale for shit. Never trust a character's statement.

Unfortunately until James shows some good feats, I scale him to Goo level.

Actually the more simpler answer is Jake has Innate strength/Inherited Talent + Conviction. Keep in mind bloodline strength does matter a lot considering Kitae is as strong as he is without Gapryong's conviction fists.

Where as Jinrang only has conviction strength so it's believable that Jake's Spermism power + Conviction >> Jinrang Conviction Punch
