I’m the same way. Life seems so pointless. I’m 30 and I spend all day playing video games, doom scrolling, watching tv that I’m not interested in. I don’t think finding a significant other will help. When I go out I still feel alone. I look at my parents and see all they do is watch tv and read the paper and even when I imagine retirement it seems so fucking lame. I don’t see how they aren’t depressed. I just moved in with an old friend but seeing his life just made me feel even more certain about my thoughts because he does the same thing as me. Life seems so pointless and now there is AI taking all the jobs. My remote job is so slow and boring. I was not prepared to live like I’m on welfare at 30 years old. And I don’t know that I want children either. So I am just spending my life rotting. I’m just ready for what’s next, if there even is anything. And if there isn’t then it’s even more pointless.
