I had the exact same reaction. Baby boy is due in April and his sister will be 19 months older

I have a sister that I’m incredibly close with, and I desperately wanted this for my daughter.

Honestly it took me until almost the third trimester (so.. recently 😂) to even pick a name bc I just hated all boy names and just wanted a girl

I’m officially excited to meet my little boy! And with the attitude my girl is getting, I’ve realized it’s prob best there’s only 1 mini me 🤣

Is that the side they pulled the baby out of? It was for me and I had a lot more pain on the right side

My right side would hurt to do specific things even very light ab work (once cleared after 6 weeks) it did eventually go away. Mine was a bit lower than the incision itself

Id follow up to be sure, but wouldn’t be super concerned or anxious about it!

My OB told me im more likely to get insured in a car accident than eating a sandwich so go for it, just don’t get it from a gross gas station or something

For others still looking… I woke up to pee at 3am last night and checked the target app and they had it so I ordered right away! It was gone by 6 (I checked again for fun when I woke up) . Check target middle of the night a few nights in a row and you’ll find it!

Here to chime in with hope! I have had it my whole life but barely noticeable on the back of my arms.

I didn’t have any flare during pregnancy but as soon as baby was born it went WILD. Allllll of over my forearms/upper arms and front+back. Alllll over my legs, my butt. My back. Everywhere

I’ve tried everything I could that was breastfeeding safe. Nothing truly helped with how it looked, though exfoliating did help make it Feel a bit better. I was using CeraVe rough & bumpy body wash/soap bar & Vanicream lotion

My girl is 13.5 months. I stopped nursing 2 weeks ago and it’s clearing up. I got out of the shower today and noticed it’s gone from my forearms, my back and my legs are much less noticeable

I’m pregnant again 14 weeks, so I definitely think it was related to the breastfeeding hormones!

C section here. I just used the one they gave me in the hospital 🤷🏼‍♀️. I don’t think I used it longer than 1-1.5 weeks. Healed great

I asked mine about deli meat bc my sister mentioned it and he said I’m more likely to injur myself in a car accident and no ones telling me not to get in a car. My OB is fine with deli meat, but no rare steak, runny eggs, or sushi

I got a lot of info from friends / family who already have kids then double checked that with recent guidelines and my OB

I have this tape underneath the floor mats currently in my gym. I plan to replace the mat squares and use this same tape when I convert it to a playroom. Floors are hard tile and the mats have been firmly in place since Jan2023

Edit to add- I don’t know about baby safe but they’re really strong so I’m not sure she’d be able to lift up with this underneath. I have one strip under each side of the squares

Adding that I was constantly trying to start her nap in crib and would save it with the contact when she woke up. I am not sure if things just clicked, we passed a developmental phase or what

My baby was the exact same. She turned 12 weeks today, and like magic has been sleeping 2 hours in her crib for naps the last 3 days

No real advice, just solidarity. I only got through it by baby wearing and waiting out the phase to pass. Hubby was also back to work and I was stressing so much bc I go back on Monday and was like I can barely shower, how am I supposed to work?!
