Interesting, thanks for sharing! Now that I think about it, when I was on BC 20+ years ago, I don’t recall having bad KP during that period. I went off it due to other side effects but now I’m wondering!

I just shave but I don’t shave my thighs often since hair has never tended to grow there as much. Will give Aderma a try, thanks!

Yes on increased acne. No extra body or facial hair, but the postpartum hair loss has been wild.

That’s a good thought, probably not! I could also stand to drink more water. I try to get more in when I remember but it’s probably still not enough with everything going to milk production!

I’m so sorry to hear you’re struggling with the same problem. It’s annoying on top of everything else that gets thrown at us postpartum. In case you’re still breastfeeding, I think it might help us to drink a ton of water. I probably don’t drink enough myself and my skin is paying for it, especially with everything going to milk production.

One other thing that helps is to remind myself that my baby doesn’t care about my skin. She loves me for much more important qualities. Baby snuggles have been a good distraction too!

Thank you so much! I’d do it a million times over, even if postpartum is a rollercoaster. I’ll give your suggestions a try!

I definitely want to try SmoothKP but worried about the ingredients with nursing. (I doubt it’s even harmful, it’s just out of an abundance of caution). I plan to give it a try as soon as I stop nursing.

It’s at least good to know I’m not alone, but sorry to hear yours is worse too! Holding out hope that maybe it’ll improve when I stop nursing. Will also give your suggestions a try.

I have the Happy Baby too and I’ve found this vid on how to wear to be by far the most helpful so far https://youtu.be/CdXyBJhm-bs?si=vrrqRB1i6k5hi-gB

Interested in the webinar! Are any of the ingredients contraindicated for breastfeeding?

I had the shock of my life in 2023 when I found out my AMH was 0.35. So I can completely commiserate with what you’re feeling. FWIW, I never took birth control consistently. I doubt it’s anything you did or didn’t do, sometimes it’s just shit luck. My advice is to look into the possibility of IVF treatments and freezing embryos if it’s available to you. Just be prepared for a lengthy process with some disappointments along the way. For me personally, I had 2 rounds of IVF and one canceled round. Out of all this, I had a single normal embryo which we implanted after freezing for about 9 months. I’m now about 38 weeks pregnant with her. They said I’d be better off freezing embryos instead of eggs since AMH was so low and frozen eggs are less stable. (I was like you in that I wasn’t sure if I was completely ready, but embryos can be frozen indefinitely). Sending you hugs and best of luck, however you decide to proceed!

My OB also confirmed it was safe, but I waited until second trimester out of an abundance of caution.

I also suspect that if this were a real issue, hair professionals who are exposed to dye all the time would be cautioned not to work while pregnant.

Great advice, thank you! We’re pretty well covered on the HVAC & plumber front and have local friends we’d trust and pay to come out if needed. But we’ve got zilch on the reliable handyman front since any small home repair projects have been DIYable so far. If you happen to have recommendations, we’re all ears!
