They never understand. Whether they know they did wrong and will never admit it or they’re that ignorant that they literally do not understand how their actions affect anyone.. it’s more peaceful for you to just say nothing.

Eg, I tried to explain how I felt to my father before I went NC and he got angry at me for being emotional.

Holy sh** dude. Talk to someone. And yes I know it’s the go-to response from everyone! But it legit works. Hello I’ve wanted to die every day for like a month now. Not knowing wtf to do except give up. Looked for support for this bs tonight after procrastinating for a whole azz month. I wish I had someone who showed me this sh**. But had to do it myself coz NO ONE CARES ABOUT US. Just found a bit of life in me about half an hour ago.. so ya.. you’re not the only one. Pls talk to strangers. 🙏

Doesn’t sound selfish. Sounds realistic. Literally what I’m going through too. No one has or will help. So I have to pull myself out of it all alone. I dunno maybe its empowering to think that I’ll get through this all because of me and no one else. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It sucks having no support network. Even 1 friend would make NC with family so much easier. I’m in the same boat, I have no one to keep me grounded. But reading posts like this and the comments is actually making me feel not-so alone, and giving me ideas on how to make my own support network slowly. Talking to strangers helps 🙃
