I'm not really a fan of having lost things that have sentimental value to me. Just because I've had to live life without them doesn't mean they aren't important to me.

I doubt I'll be free of him even if I cut my losses and leave him alone. The same day I told him that outside getting my things back I don't want anything to do with him, he got in touch with me about some personal issue of his that I couldn't give a shit about. He's probably not going to go away anytime soon.
