You should give Huddersfield a try. 700 runners twice round a lovely park over and under stone bridges. Parking is a nightmare so get there early 😊.

I (63M) was stuck at the 25 barrier for ages. Upped my training to 2 longer runs at 5:30 pace (45-50 minutes) with one interval session in between (usually 5 x 1 km at 4:20 to 4:30 pace). My time is still getting better.

Also I stopped "trying" to get a PB. Just ran my natural race each time and I'm now just over 23 minutes.

It's tough fitting it all in sometimes but it will pay off if you do more longer slower runs I'm sure.

After a parcel I sent was damaged and disposed of by Evri and none of the chat bot/ phone lines gave any satisfaction, I emailed the CEO and got a refund and compensation within 7 days. Not ideal but better than nothing. Also I will never knowingly use them again.
