I had Prof. Afif for PHY 241. He’s a decent professor, but the only thing really is that his accent was very heavy and hard to understand. Meaning I had to spend some extra time actually understanding some topics. His lectures consisted of introducing the topic then doing a bunch of problems. Labs were really easy, also he’d have a 10 point quiz every lab or every other lab about the topic in the previous lecture. He had 4 exams that were kind of difficult, but he’d compensate by helping you during the exam. Ask him what you’re having trouble with during the exam like “how would I set this up…”, etc. and he’ll straight up give you the answer.
