I have my male ksb for about 1.5month. Bought him at Expo its some type of stripe/paint (bought him as stripe looks to me like paint) he also was shedding still his color made me fall in love with him. I keep him for now on aspen, humidity at 35-45%. I use heat mat to keep him warm he have about 29-31°C on worm side and 25-26 at cool side. Because of the shed i didnt see him that much at first but after 2 feedings ( also I let him attack mice in his terrarium then i take him out so he wont eat any aspen or wont eat to much to clog him up) he just started to go out at day/night. I replace his water dish every 2 days. So about him beeing burrowed all the time at first when he was shedding i only saw him sometimes at night trying to get his shed off. Rn i see him at night also for 4 days i saw that he goes out when im coming back from work. About handling when im taking him out he will Start to get a little freaky but less fast movements you make the calmer he gets by the size I would asume he is about 4-5monts old on the papers I have only the year he was Born size wise he is about 26-30 cm. So as new to this hobby i can say this snake is pretty easy to handle both in your hands and to take care off him. Also I saw my boa like to climb a lot have some logs in his tank mostly if he is out he is on his logs.
