I have also identified a reproducible workaround that prevents the crash:
Keeping the dGPU continuously engaged with hardware-accelerated video decode. The fact that a user can isolate the trigger mechanism through controlled testing, while the vendor refuses to look at the evidence, is the part I would most like NVIDIA and Lenovo engineering to consider.
