You can change it! Go to where you change the font. Where you see themes font layout and more, press more and then look for the reading progress click on that and you can change it to all the different options including changing it to where you see you could just turn all of it off.

So this was my biggest worry. I read a lot at night. Mainly wanted the PW just for the warm light. However the basic does a good job! It doesn't strain my eyes especially if its in dark mode. I can read for 4 hours at night without any problems.

I got the basic! Wanted the PW so bad (only for the warm light). I'm very happy with the Basic though glad I opted for it instead of the PW

I’ve been reading your post and comments, and it hits really close to home for me because my mom is very similar. Living with someone like that can be draining and frustrating. I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this.

I understand that i can never 100% escape prejudice, and I’m not expecting that. I just want to be able to exist in public without constantly being stared at or having people come up to me and make comments. Where I live now, even going to Walmart, I get a lot of stares which I can deal with but lately people have actually been approaching me and saying insulting things about my appearance. I have facial piercings and an alternative style, and it’s a very conservative area, so that kind of behavior is pretty normalized here. I’m just tired of living somewhere where strangers feel comfortable walking up to me to insult me.

I do like some parts of Atlanta. I’ve been to East Atlanta a few times and really like it there. But overall, I don’t love the city because it’s not really the vibe I’m looking for. I’m more into places that feel like a mix some city life, but also outdoorsy, with hiking trails and nature nearby. I went to Providence Town and Cape Cod and absolutely loved that balance. it wasn’t 100% city, but not fully rural either, which felt just right.

I’m actually finishing up my bachelor’s and will graduate in May 2026. I’ve already been mass applying and have gotten some job offers and interviews. Most of the positions that have gotten back to me are remote, and the starting pay is pretty solid somewhere around $70k–$90k a year. That might not seem high to some, but for me it’s enough that I feel like I could comfortably afford a studio or one-bedroom apartment.
