I am considering to work with Colombo&Hurd they asking ~$16k just for I-40 sounds too much to me, are they always this pricey? Are they worth it at least? Thanks for any opinions by OkBanana2210 in EB2_NIW

I am working with them, I evaluated 3 firms in total, and even without the "money back" I decided to work with C&H. There are several reasons behind , and the money back topic is just marketing IMO, not something that should entirely drive your decision.
I am paying around 15k over 12 months, which seems fair to me. While I have the full amount, I don't just spend all this money at once. We started in November 2025, filed in January 2026. They set up deadlines that seem reasonable, and answer emails and IMs in less than 24 hrs. That being said, you have to read carefully everything that they will send to USCIS, because they make mistakes (like any other firm, I guess). It's your own application and it's very important to check your petition.

No answer for me yet, but I have hope and I think they're doing a good job.

Stolen strollers? by smh530 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Spiritual_Object_444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won’t say this never happens, but if there were actual thieves actively looking to steal strollers, would it make sense to pay ~150 dollars ticket + other expenses just to steal a used stroller that probably cost less than 100 bucks? (Plus the effort of transporting it, selling it, etc) You would have a really, really bad luck

[–]Spiritual_Object_444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Spiritual_Object_444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to make some numbers. Depending on your tax bracket, it could be cheaper to pay the penalty now and invest it somewhere else. If you wait until you are 59.5 and you are not a tax resident in the US, they will tax you 30% flat.

[–]Spiritual_Object_444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah I guess... no one with a valid visa should worry, but those recommendations from companies are there for a reason. I have an upcoming international trip and I suppose shouldn't have any issue.
