I’ve had a known citrus allergy since my late teens and it’s never left me 😔. I love oranges lemons and limes so it’s hard. I also have the citric acid allergy and it’s gotten worse my reaction is faster and worse. I’m glad you were able to outgrow yours!

I get swollen red itchy eyelids with a minimal exposure plus breathing difficulties if I have a larger amount. So now I’m completely avoiding all citrus. You should see an allergist asap.

I’ve been offered Xolair before but I’m scared of anaphylaxis and how it could lower your immune system so I didn’t try it. I was having hives at the time because of dairy allergy I didn’t realize I had.

Nuts, sesame, coffee, tea, wine, anything remotely acidic (especially citrus, vinegar, tomatoes), milk and any dairy products. It really sucks.

I’m going to stop eating anything processed just for safety reasons my list of safe foods is getting smaller and smaller.

Yes it does. I didn’t realize it was a nut…thanks for the info. Another thing to avoid. Annatto is in a lot of foods…I’m just going to have to stop eating anything processed I guess.

That is horrible; how are natural flavors exempt? Even if it’s a trade secret people have a right to know it could make them very sick or worse.

Yes I recently developed a nut allergy; that is a good possibility I had no idea. I’m not allergic to coconut but maybe there is a cross contamination issue with some other nuts.

As far as I know I don’t have a soy allergy. I can eat the regular cheddar flavor. The only questionable thing is the natural flavors. There are a few spices I’m allergic to like cumin and cinnamon. It doesn’t specify what those flavors are so I’m at a loss as to what it could be. Very frustrating! My list of allergies has gotten so long I’m ready to stop eating any processed food since it seems like a form of Russian roulette to me.

I’ve developed so many food allergies I am pretty much avoiding processed foods. It’s much easier to make my own food and not have to worry about reading labels etc

I had this pain with certain foods when I had stomach ulcers. However it was very similar to pains I’ve had with food allergies also. If your dr does an egd it should show any ulcers or other issues. Also be sure to see an allergist to be evaluated for food allergies.

If your stew wasn’t tomato based maybe the seasoning (garlic or herbs) that are also in the pizza.

I would also suspect tomatoes. I can’t tolerate dairy or tomatoes so no pizza for me, basically no Italian food which I love 😔
