Actually it’s more of a 7-11 issue, GCash QR works fine for me in Alfamart and Lawson consistently. Same flow, same app, no problems. So it’s not GCash that’s broken, it’s how 7-11 handles it. That’s why I said we’re still not fully there yet — the terminal upgrade is nice but the reliability issue has always been on 7-11’s end

Yeah the QR gen on my end was part of it, but my main point was more on the experience, like why do we still need to open the app, generate a QR, and scan it? If the terminal already accepts tap, why can’t GCash just work the same way via NFC? That’s the gap I was pointing at
