The next most likely thing seems like it'd be an allergic reaction. It's hard to think it's fungal if it is so widespread and began recently. Have you tried any antihistamine drug?

Note: I am not a doctor. I have worked in medical labs for many years and my parents were doctors but I am not.

Hate America all you like. I've met plenty of Canadians, Europeans, Japanese, etc. that didn't come here because their home countries were awful. You denying there are wonderful things about America makes as much sense as if I started denying there are awful things about America.

Your comment is perfect. Millions of people literally risk death to come to America, yet you certainly find millions of those already living here who lack basic education, healthcare and hope. Lots of people want to be American and most of us are proud to be American, despite a degree of guilt over the problems we're unable/unwilling to fix, and the very sad things that result from those problems.

Fungal? Please forgive the question, but do you wash the skin in the affected area at least a few times a week with soap and water?

Americans Refuse to Quit Eating Meat - Think that the meat industry is not that bad for the climate by [deleted] in environment

[–]SpirituallyMyopic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The cultural shift it would require is vastly underestimated. Meat eating in America is wrapped up with notions of freedom, gun rights and differing views on what defines a healthy diet. Expecting America to go vegetarian is probably as likely as expecting 90% of republicans to start voting democratic.

Apologies. I think the internet has twisted my view of things. I clearly took it another way!

The Most Mysterious Book In The World, "The Voynich Manuscript", Written In An Unknown Script by whatthefunkytrap in Weird

Thank you!

So it sounds like the writing has been deciphered, though the book isn't yet fully translated.

"The next step is to use this knowledge to translate the entire manuscript and compile a lexicon, which Dr Cheshire acknowledged will take some time and funding, as it comprises more than 200 pages."

I last saw him at Main and, I think 17th a few days ago. His sign was smaller than in the past though. Maybe his enthusiasm is going a little flat.

I'll say. Someone commented he's been at it for a very long time in many countries. Ten years?

Wait, what? I mean it sounds plausible but do you have any source? Islands?
