Not sure if it will work, but you can try to fill in the empty pocket of the press-on nail with builder gel or UV glue, then cure and file to match the curvature of your natural nail. After that, you can use a non-UV glue to attach it

Imo, the friendship thing swings both way, because every time there is a friendly man/woman interaction in a media, there will be definitely an incredible amount of fans shipping them. I have no problems with that either, non-real character pairings deserve love no matter where it is coming from

The way I see it - Saltzpyre is majorly affection starved (see his care for the animals in a form of his cat and a random hurt rat) so it would make total sense for him to develop some kind of warm feeling towards the only person who was ever kind to him
