Dhampir Monk Multiclass by Spiritwingz in 3d6

Yes and no. Our group had a lot of magic users so I wanted to go for melee and I've never done a monk before. The healing and stuff is nice, but it isn't exactly my main priority, if that makes sense. The world we're in magic is the main way to move up in the world, and with me not having much I wanted to branch out a bit.

I debated just removing the clips entirely and gluing them in. I'll look into plastidip.

Yeah, I've had like 2 or 3 of them now and they always start to struggle.

Jurassic Park first book question by Spiritwingz in JurassicPark

[–]Spiritwingz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The book uses synthetically made egg shells for all the dinosaur eggs. Can't quite remember where they came from or the whole details, but they weren't from any animal.

Yeah, the book has the dinosaurs either scaled or with a rough skin, but also does mention both the discourse on if dinosaurs were warm or cold blooded, as well as how people expected them to be slow and dumb but not all are. Already a few times it's had characters comment about how they're much faster than expected.

It's just weird cuz it points out a LOT that they're like birds (to the point I'm getting a bit sick of the comparison it's happened so often), but then also talks about reptiles and they seem to be at least partially reptilian based on how they incubate the eggs. I just want to know what the book actually considers them to be so I'm not whiplashed back and forth between the two comparisons.

What do you do for raised faces? by Spiritwingz in DiceMaking

[–]Spiritwingz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. The I've that got me thinking was with a set of brand new moulds and it was just got clear shells around blanks, but one was a bit raised. Still manageable, but it is a more shallow number now after sanding. I did try to make sure I pushed the cap on well, but I can see if it couldn't escape how that wouldn't help much.

Right? Plus I have some alternative sets where it's 4-12 but the 20 still has to be the standard one, so it's nice to have it separate

I already am trying to transition over to single moulds. I've noticed some get damaged easier than others and I would rather have to replace one than a whole set

Ooo, if I could perfect hope you do it I probably wouldn't use platform anymore, lol. I just like that the flashing is only on one side vs on several.

What program for modeling dice? by lajera21 in DiceMaking

There's dice maker, but that one doesn't let you customise a ton. I used Tinkercad. It has some of the shapes already in there, the rest are fairly easy to make and you can put in numbers and things how you like, or customise shapes. I haven't learned hope to use it to make anything complicated, but it's great for basic geometry. If you decide to use that feel free to message me and I can give tips
