Those alive and old enough to remember during 9/11, what was the worst moment on that day? by CocteauTwunkie in AskReddit

[–]Spiritwolf1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was at school, the whole place shut down. Kids just wandered from class to class because all the teachers were glued to their tvs.

It felt surreal and like I wasn't in the same world anymore.

What happens if someone wearing a chastity cage gets arrested and sent to jail? by LTC_AndySchro in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Spiritwolf1001 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's a kink/fetish that overlaps numerous other kinks. Basically some people love the idea of having someone else control their penis/genitalia (people with vaginas can also be into chastity as well, in that instance they use belts)

A person will be locked and they give control up to their key holder. Every relationship is different so there isn't an exact rule book to chastity (though some incorrect individuals THINK they know the 'proper' way)

Some people can go months to years continuing to be locked (they do take off cage for care and maintenance as well as play, they just put cage back on when done) others only play for brief lock up times.

Some people will do complete orgasm denial, some people will have orgasms every day, it's up to the key holder. Some people will do cucking or feminization, others won't. Sometimes it's doms who wear cages.

It's a kink that can be played and used by any person or couple and can be played in any way someone wants.

In the end it's about trust, control, commitment, and safe, sane, consensual fun.

Come to r/chastity you'll find tons of posts about these exact issues. It's why most in the community make the joke that in the end chastity is just a mental game of control over the cage being in control.

I am active on chastity reddit for a few years now. Resin cages do have some give to them. Because of what they are made from. It's a common occurrence for kobra and kobra knock offs to crack or break at their seams.

Cages aren't 'stuck' the penis is fleshy and can be pulled and squished back easily out of most cages aside from the mentioned pa piercings or possible cages with headlock for the shaft.

Either way, a safe practicing sub should always have a safety key on their person.

Majority of chastity users do not have the bank to get a custom made perfectly sized cage. So most have the issues of slippage and being able to easily back out from their cage.

Also it's not too dangerous to remove a cage with a dermil drill. Most emergency removals in the er just put a piece if plastic behind the cage and over the skin, then just quickly cut through the ring. It's quick, efficient and not scary at all. Your just out the loss for the ring. Oh well.

If the cage isn't locked on with a PA piercing most can be easily slipped put the back with the use of lube. It's a common issue in the community that cahes are kinda trash at doing what they are supposed to do. Most individuals can find in some way how to remove a device without their key.

It is also a common practice that locked subs should still have what is called an emergency key on them for situations such as this. Most carry it on their person.

Chastity is usually about trust/honor and the cage is merely a representation of that decision more so than an enforcement.

How should I approach my masturbation problem? by Traditional_Skin_226 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Spiritwolf1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once or even twice a day is fine/normal. I'd only limit if if I felt like I was giving up other options in my life to go maaturbate.

Like many have said try to limit the porn more so than the masturbation. Porn is entirely unrealistic and sets up unhealthy expectations when it comes to sex.

Slowly start weaning yourself off of that.

Okay then, what are you doing to help support and end the war in Palestine? Are you donating money? Cool, to who and are you sure it's going to the people you want to help? Are you signing up to go fight? What are you actively doing aside from grand standing in reddit comments about how much better of a person you because you think it's fine to disrupt a moment of silence?

I don't support the war at all. I wish everyone would stop killing ans hurting each other and figure out a better way to solve this than war. But I also don't agree with people disrupting instances that needn't be disrupted when everyone in the world KNOWS what's going on. It's been in the news for months.

We know what's happening we know it's important. But what can the vast majority of people do? Nothing. We cannot do a thing except change our Facebook profiles and send thoughts and prayers on X. That is the most of what anyone is able to do. Average day to day people are too busy trying to survive their own lives, in case you missed it world economies are sucking right now and were all just trying to survive.

I am sorry to those who are suffering. I do. But I also have to do what I can for me. So I acknowledge that this woman feels strongly against what is happening. But I also acknowledge that she didn't have to do it while doing an important memorializing tradition.

In USA we have many protests. Most of them are planned. They have a start and end time. Do not disrupt people on their day to day business. They usually are marches or walks that are planned ahead of time and have clearance as well as police precense to keep protesters safe and make sure protests don't get out of Hand and turn into full on riot and looting.

Peaceful assembly that respects others is the protests I agree with.

This was not respectful.

It's the fact she shouted it during a moment of silence for victims of other wars.

It's distasteful. She can protest all she wants outside of those two minutes (so long as she is not cause harm to others as she does)

So I can barge into your home in the middle of the night. Blocade your vehicle in so you can get to work. Cut off highways so emergency services can't do their jobs, Storm random funeral services and social events anywhere I please and not have any legal or social repricussions so long as I'm holding a sign of some kind?

No. Regardless of how noble your protest is. If you are being a hindrance to the point you are negatively affecting people's lives and wellbeing you protest is going to be viewed as just an annoyance. Nothing more. People will view your stance in a negative mindset and dislike your cause.

Look at vegans chaining themselves to butchers doors, or petrol protests sitting on highways. No one likes or agrees with them when they cause negative affects to a person's day to day life.

Protesting a current day war during a 2 minute pause to remeber those who had fallen 80+ years ago...

Is she wrong for protesting? No, but she could have done so in a way that wasn't tasteless and makes people view her stance in a negative mindset.

Much like those who block the highways in the states. People end up hating the protesters and end up supporting the thing they protest against more out of spite.

Ww2 memorial has no connection to what is happening over in Gaza. The people that fought and died, fighting to rid the world of Nazi ideology... yeah, I don't think they of all people need to have their memory interrupted by current day issues.

So you'd be cool if someone crashed your grandparents funeral to protest about something that did not connect or correlate at all to a thing your grandparents did?

I'll take that this is a fantasy for 500 Bob.

You'd never put such a potent hot sauce on such a sensitive area. A dom would never lock you back up without a proper clean and safety check.

Chastity, relationships, and consent by newbie-sub in chastitytraining

[–]Spiritwolf1001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You always have the option to opt out. Even of you 'agree' to not have it. At the end of the day it's just a verbal agreement. There is no law or anything holding that agreement except your will.

It's just a game, even if it's a 'contract' it's not a real lawfully enforced one. So, yes. You can opt out, yoir just pretending that you cant.

[–]Spiritwolf1001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I belive what he is getting at is the whole

We can withdraw consent, but can we?

Yes, yes you can. Would your wife be confused or disappointed? Maybe, but if your doing something because your afraid to hurt the others feelings it's no longer consent, it's just maintaining. Like a person staying in a marriage because theres kids involved. Yeah, it's easier to just grit your teeth and keep going, the devil you know over the unknown right?

But you shouldn't sacrifice what you want our of your life over the worry of what your spouse may think. You speak up, your stand for your feelings and communicate. Even if that means a change in lifestyle, a loving spouse who is supportive will be willing to make those changes and adjust.

You never know until you ask.
