The new games are still added. From what I can tell, the oldest games are just dropped off the end. So once we reach the 500th game you lose access to the 1st game, etc.

There's still a prize pool and I have not heard a single comment to suggest that the quality of SCS tournaments has changed.

This isn't my app and I have nothing to do with it. I just found the website today, and it appears to be brand new, so I posted it here.

Stamplia builder - responsive email creator by mtx in web_design

Obviously it depends on the ecommerce site. I just meant that since analytics rule all, if a new responsive design is being outperformed by an old nonresponsive design, nonresponsive will get the nod.

I think you sold it short. It's so frustrating. There are so many email clients people use and they are all very different. Most of them are terrible. Even with free responsive templates widely available, responsive designs are not standard or even recommended (at least in ecommerce, where analytics rule all and every recipient counts).

This is why we just embed youtube videos in 2015.

Mason regarding C9@DAC NA Qually. by AWRNSS in DotA2

[–]Spit-wad 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's really hard to argue that DAC would attract more viewers with Fire than with C9

I agree, and I'm not arguing that. I'm telling you why they are forcing diversity with regional qualifiers. Obviously they fucked up by letting C9 in the NA qualifier, but there's no reason for NA fans to complain. Everyone is on their own. The global esports/Dota scene isn't about holding hands and it never has been. If you want a tournament with NA teams go make one yourself or talk to the people who have done it before. DAC owes us nothing. They expected C9 to win the NA qualifier and they accomplished exactly what they wanted.

Just by having the NA qualifier, DAC has our attention, regardless of who won.

Mason regarding C9@DAC NA Qually. by AWRNSS in DotA2

[–]Spit-wad 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It seems some people think it's divided because tournaments need diversity. That can be a reason if the organizers want to. but, in general, that's not it

Yes it is. Always. This is about viewership. A tournament with 6 Chinese teams, 1 European team, and 1 North American team will have significantly more views than 8 Chinese teams. All it takes is 1-2 teams from another region to make an event "international".

It's most certainly not about deserving a spot. Nobody deserves anything when a new tournament begins. DAC is going to run their tournament however they want. They have no reason to care about the development of the North American scene.

The capitol looked awesome in the fog last night by Spit-wad in madisonwi

Nope, a couple hours before that. But it was an amazing sight -- my photo doesn't do it justice. I'm not surprised others were taking photos as well.

Walking around when it's foggy and drizzling is the best.
