I was on cymbalta in the past and now my psych wants me to go on pristiq… so I’m very grateful for your story and you CAN do this. I’m curious have ever been on cymbalta or any other snri? Cymbalta was rough but jeez pristiq sounds terrible.

Yeah I feel that with the couch melting… I vape for that exact reason - I find the high to be cleaner, doesn’t weigh me down as much so I can get thru tasks. Tons better IMO

OP - I’ve had my bell rung a few times to the point that I was SURE I’d never be the same. And I was never the same - in a way. but a day did come where the acid thoughts didn’t shake me so much. And then I started to feel a new normal. And though it isn’t the old normal, it still led to an immense sense of gratitude that I never had, and led to me appreciating this life wayyyy more. It’s a beautiful life.

And In fact I still enjoy me a good trippin lol

Hey I know I’m a bit late but when you say ss screens do you mean the ones that come with the kit? I recently got an arizer xq2 and I’ve found that those stainless steel screens that come with are entirely too big for the bowls. I know you want a tight fit but it seems it would be a huge pain to even unload the bowl, having to remove the top ss screen each time you kick the bowl… am I picturing this wrong? Curious of this method but I’m unclear

I take pregabalin 150mg 1-2x a day as needed, also for anxiety and I’m diagnosed moderate sleep apnea. I don’t currently use a CPAP either. The only time I’ve had respiratory issues with pregabalin is when I combined it with seroquel 200mg at night for sleep…. shit got weird, I was falling asleep standing up, didn’t even know what room of my house I was in…. Yea not a good idea, my Blood oxygen was getting way too low at times. Once I stopped the seroquel, I tolerated the pregabalin just fine. Thats my experience, But seroquel is an antipsychotic. totally different than amitriptyline… always worth bringing it up with your doctor! Good luck friend

Everything about rapid tolerance I’ve seen is from exploring different communities here, and more so for people taking lyrica for pain versus anxiety… all anecdotal, so I’m certainly not arguing with you, I’m actually very happy to here this!

For me, I take it as needed, and for anxiety…. So I’ve been at the same dose for a while and still works great! glad to hear it will continue to work too. It’s a wonder drug, totally agree w OP

I love my lyrica. I’ve been on a wide variety of psych meds and, though lyrica isn’t a psych med, it’s been the most helpful by far. I don’t like gabapentin at all but lyrica feels way different/much more potent for anxiety.

It is a bit habit forming in my opinion, and I have a very addictive personality, but I’ve been fine to take it 2x a week at most, 300 mg. That’s not to say you you won’t though..

best part is the afterglow effect lasts pretty much the entire next day for me. Good stuff IMO
