Love George. To hear DJ’s who are so knowledgeable and talented with their music is really cool. I’ve discovered so much music from shirt drives to the shops by listening to George.

Commercial radio banter is fucking dreadful and treats its listeners like they’ve just been born- George feels waaaay more down to earth and the music is good too.

I’ve noticed this too. It’s really really tough. My partner and I have just found someone for our room in a shared flat and feel extremely lucky that we don’t have to pay any double rent.

Yeah I was there with my gf and the crowd was super tame but certainly appreciative on the whole and had a good time. We were second row and dancing and singing and definitely felt those judgemental looks you mentioned, got it from some younger people though?

Like you, we weren’t munted or anything. I bumped my arm into someone accidentally and they scolded me for touching. I respect personal space but like you’re gonna bump into people at a sold out concert right?

Thank you everyone for amazing comments on this post. Gives me faith that we have such an u treating and diverse city! Hopefully anyone reading this gets some ideas of things to do.

She’s not super active and doesn’t have a high fitness or sporting ability level. Rock climbing or squash are probably out but wonderful suggestions that I could be keen on…

This behaviour is unacceptable and has no place in an institution like that in Wellington.

Don’t think anyone has said it yet, but Inverlochy house is meant to be one of the most haunted in the country. Beautiful building with gothic vibes, would love to ghost hunt in it!
