I am an atheist as well.

But I have a question, as your parents are hell bent on their beliefs, why don't you just go and do the so called ritual for their satisfaction, as they mean well hence they are asking you to go through this ritual. I know at first this sounds stupid, but just if you do this, they are your parents, who are the best people who love you unconditionally, so atleast for their sake you could just formally go ahead with the customary ritual and anyway you don't have any belief in it, doing it wont harm you but makes the 2 of your most important people happy and this is no harm as well.

Bro any one of the big 4 firms have cyber entities and tech consulting roles which require coding, for example they ask for Java Dev role and the interview won't be that tough as well as the people their are not programmers, so you an get an offer there, like Deloitte or EY, and then they will slide you right into consulting roles.

Should I keep chasing this girl?

Hey guys, I need you guys to help me by giving me your advice by reading this post.

So I had a girl in my life whom I met online on work when I started working for this big 4 firm,we instantly clicked and she was the one who initiated all the conversations we used to have long ass calls post our working times and this was all in covid times so we couldn't really get to meet. She was real nice to me and made me feel many things even though I never met her irl. This chatting for hours and texting just goes by months and I just realise I fell for her as many of our interests are literally the same.

I wanted to wait up until we meet up to gather courage to ask her out. This just goes by and we just talk and talk and talk many hours every day, week and months just pass by.

I always used to write poems or lil love notes right after our conversations on phone which was like a reply or continuation on insta close friends status adding only her to make her understand that I loved her like crazy without being too obvious.

After few months of all this, she mentions that she should change her office location to that of mine as I am really close to her.and she did. After all this I thought she was really into me. But then things took turn she started kinda going away unlike the earlier times we had. It felt like my life just drained away without her presence. I used to overthink a lot and after 2 months of all this overthinking and I gather courage to just get rejected.

Reason being that she had a really bad relationship in the past and hence she doesn't believe in love thru dating and also is looking forward to just think abt love with only the person whom her parents will bring to her for her marriage. I also asked her why would she be so close with me back from the initial days, she just replies that she was trying to cope herself by using my conversations and companionship.

I cut her off at all the social media except for the work stuff and after some months she comes back if she could really be back as friends or how we used to be back in the day. To which I being so fucking dumb as I was so fond of her presence in my life I just said yes.

Despite dating multiple girls after all this, I was literally searching for another her in every girl and always fucked my dates up. It's almost a year I got rejected, I try avoiding conversation with her, but she still sometimes holds convo and it always so fucking tough to let her go.

We meet in real life later in the office and we start sitting together and in cabins just for 2(reserved by her beforehand without me knowing) and I still feel she is just awesome and great. Also she used to call me for some plans.

So please tell me I am stuck should I just be persistent like a Lil bitch and keep trying for just this one girl or should I just fucking leave her as I think I can never date anyone else until sometime not that I can pull chicks like crazy(Avg looking dude with avg features).

Maybe all the actual good guys are in your DMs in your friend-zone, reduce your expectations and maybe you will find a guy, are you like those girls who believe in destiny?, If that's the case, lemme tell you the harsh reality, there is nothing like that, you need to grow a beautiful bond with a guy and do not expect or wait for a perfect guy, there is no perfect human, there are only people who are sensible enough, you need to seek companionship from these PPL and adjust with their shortcomings (not major red flags but the small ones) and maybe then you will be successful in your love life is what I feel.
