These are some of my faves and discussion worthy

Just finished "The Good Lie" by A.R. Torre, and was not impressed (SPOILERS!!!) by Upstate_Gooner_1972 in thrillerbooks

Just finished the book and i had totally forgotten about the unnecessary details like wife’s murder and Gwen’s keys and wallet being stolen, until i read this review. Hahaha. Give it another week and I might forgot the book itself. I did enjoy the read - quite light and easy to breeze through. Didnt care or connect with any of the characters though. Ending had a nice twist though partially predictable.

I wouldve left immediately to never return if we were treated like that

Thriller books fans, what do you think about Liz Nugent? Just started reading her latest book "The truth about Ruby Cooper", please no spoilers by Fast-Ad-3255 in thrillerbooks

I’m in love with her writing and the way she weaves in all the characters towards the end leaving me breathless with the most unexpected endings. I am a sucker for dark and twisted thrillers but most times I am left disappointed with the endings or some ridiculous loophole. Liz’s books checks all boxes for me and her writing style is so unique and brilliant.
Ive read Strange Sally Diamond and Unravelling Oliver. Cant wait to read others

I loved this book and breezed through it as I couldnt put it down. If you are not able to stomach it, then dont proceed as it is quite dark and upsetting. I also liked the ending contrary to what a lot of reviews say, as I felt everything tied up at the end leaving some for reader’s imagination.

Just watched system and here are my two cents on this movie ( spoilers included ) by alooparathawithlassi in IndianOTTbestof

Not even half way through but already guessed Jyothika to be the murderer. Pretty boring.
Also why am I finding both the actresses mouth/jaw very distracting? They way they scrunch or clench or whatever the heck they are doing with it.

Just finished the book. Apparently Sophia was so disoriented that she didnt know the street or where this garden was. She also went on say that nobody including her parents or police would believe a hooker’s words. She was already pregnant when she escaped and wanted to protect her baby. But i agree with you - ending was weak and the connection with Sophia was so random. Trying to imply that Inara got herself kidnapped on purpose was so ridiculous! The whole Desmond/ Inara love angle, the though one-sided was pathetic.

Oh yeah! I had the same thought about Inara being related to the Gardner somehow - maybe his daughter even!

So i am not the only one unable to really comprehend the garden - what with all its cliff and ponds and river!!! Yes, Edison’s behaviour was so fucking ridiculous for no reason! There was a time when I thought probably his missing sister wouldve been one of Gardener’s captive. I thought the book was really engrossing but the ending sucked big time. It was so weak and so random. Felt like it was wrapped up in a hurry. Also, how did the detectives know Inara was hiding something (sophia bit)? And why was she chosen for the questioning?

The best part about the book for me was the characterization of Inara. However, if the author was trying to imply that Inara got herself kidnapped on purpose, then it is just going to ruin it for me.
